OPENING RECEPTION
|
Join us for this special public event celebrating this year's exhibit. Representatives from the project team will be on hand to share behind the scenes insights on this year's collaboration. Special guest speaker Alec Baldwin, co-chair of Tisch School of the Arts Dean's Council, is slated host the exhibit’s opening reception and share a few words on behalf of the project.
The reception program will also feature the public unveiling of a bronze plaque celebrating Mulberry Street circa 1900, designed by Richard Rinaldo, editor of Meatballs & Stickball: Growing Up in “The Neighborhood” Little Italy.
Looking Back is curated by Mark Bussell (Department of Photography & Imaging, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University), in partnership with Monsignor Donald Sakano (The Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral), and Two Bridges Neighborhood Council. The original photographs are currently on display at the Italian American Museum, located at 155 Mulberry Street, on the corner of Mulberry and Grand Streets.
